Is it True?

Read me.

Is Aida Parker Newsletter on the Internet?   Yes, it is. Finally. For the first time in its history the Aida Parker Newsletter will have a global audience. This decision was made since it was felt that too many South Africans abroad were still interested in their fatherland (motherland for those wishing to be politically correct) and were unable to get an independent view of affairs here, unable to glean news about the homefront from the world's liberal leftwing media.

Henceforth, rejoice all, Aida Parker is now a Netizen too and hopes to inform everybody, South African and non-South African of what REALLY goes on in that Southern-most country on the continent of Africa.

Lastly, before you eagerly start reading our first Net-issue here are some tips:

In order to make the Newsletter printable and make the web issue resemble the printed version, the fonts (lettertype) had to be reduced so the whole page would print on one sheet. Just like the Real Newsletter.

This means that the actual text inside your Netscape or Microsoft browser looks tiny.  It looks like this.
To alleviate this problem follow these steps.

Netscape users of Navigator/Communicator4.x:

Go to the edit menu, select preferences and a window opens. In the white frame select "fonts". Next to the "variable width" window is a "size" window. Here you can select a wide variety of sizes. The standard font size of your browser is shown. For our pages select a font that is 4 or 6 points bigger to make them easier to read in your browser. If you want to print leave your browser's font to its standard size (unless you changed it before.)
The font used is Times New Roman and with a font size of 14 you will be able to reproduce the pages properly.

Netscape users of Navigator 3.x

Go to the Options menu, select General Preferences and choose the Fonts tab. Click the upper of the two "Choose Font" buttons and a window opens where you can change the size. 16 or 18 is a good size.

Please Note that unlike the "Version 4" browsers, Netscape Navigator 3.x does not have a justify ability for text and the right margin will look jagged.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4:

The lucky ones... For you it's easy. Click on the "A" button on your tool bar and you get a menu of 5 choices from Largest to smallest.
If you don't see this button you can also select the "view" menu and click "Internet Options".  On the General tab you'll find a myriad buttons. Select Fonts... and here are those 5 choices again.

At Aida Parker Newsletter we assume that our readership is intelligent so we shall spare you any further boring lectures.

Let me in already
